THE STUDIO
Lauryn Cameron Interiors is a residential design studio founded in 2024 and based in Madison, Wisconsin. Our work is centered on creating thoughtful interiors through a process grounded in collaboration and intentional design development.
Our work begins with how a home functions day to day, how spaces are used, how movement flows, and how routines shape experience. These factors guide early spatial decisions and establish the foundation for every project. From there, we develop a clear design direction that informs layout, material selection, and furnishing strategy as a cohesive whole.
THE designer
Lauryn Cameron
Founder & Principal Designer
Originally from Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, Lauryn's appreciation for creativity, the built environment, and community inspired her path into interior design. After graduating from the CIDA-accredited Interior Architecture and Design Strategies programs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, she founded Lauryn Cameron Interiors with a vision to create thoughtfully designed homes that feel personal and functional.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that well-designed spaces should feel accessible while empowering clients to create homes that reflect their individuality and foster a genuine sense of comfort and pride.
Outside of the studio, Lauryn enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé, and their cat, discovering local coffee and tea shops, experiencing all that Mad Town has to offer, and playing tennis.
The Process

Discovery
We start by getting a clear picture of your space, routines, and what you want life at home to feel like. This stage is about listening, asking the right questions, and identifying both practical needs and aesthetic direction so the project has a strong foundation from the start.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
From there, we translate early ideas into a cohesive visual direction. This includes exploring style influences, defining materiality, and shaping the overall atmosphere of the space so decisions feel intentional and unified before moving forward.

Design development
Once the direction is established, we build out the full design framework. This includes spatial layouts, refined selections, and technical documentation needed to communicate the design clearly and support accurate execution.

Implementation
We remain involved throughout implementation by clarifying specifications, communicating design intent, coordinating with vendors and trades as applicable, and guiding design refinement. Procurement, order management, receiving, installation coordination, and styling may be included based on the scope and level of project support requested.
